Qing Bai: Innocence is an original experimental theater piece inspired by The Legend of the White Snake.
Set within a world of the broken bridge, rivers, and rain, Qing Bai reimagines the ancient Chinese legend through movement, sound, and ritual gesture. Performed entirely in Mandarin with English subtitles provided, the piece delves into transformation, memory, and the liminal space between human consciousness and primal instinct.
Developed by an international ensemble, Qing Bai will travel across the U.S. East Coast, with performances at Brown University, Yale University, and a special presentation in New York City.
以家喻戶曉的「白蛇傳」為靈感，實驗性原創話劇「青白」於2025年12月12日至14日間在紐約上演。共同打造該劇的導演Tara與編劇何楚寧指出，這部作品並非傳統意義上的「重述」或「改編」，而是抽取中國經典傳說及其精神內核，與現代表達、肢體劇場與哲學命題相碰撞，試圖探討中國故事在異國他鄉，還能以什麼方式被重新點燃，並帶給觀眾不一樣的火花。

Grounded tells the story of an ace fighter pilot whose career in the sky is ended early due to an unexpected pregnancy. Reassigned to operate military drones from a windowless trailer outside Las Vegas, she hunts terrorists by day and returns to family by night. As the pressure to track a high-profile target grows, the boundaries begin to blur between the desert in which she lives and the one she patrols half a world away.
《墜落者獨白》由Impulse#24劇團製作，改編自著名劇作家喬治·布蘭特的獨角戲作品Grounded。作品以一位女性飛行員的經歷為線索，探討母職與自我實現的掙紮、戰爭形態的演變，以及技術理性對人性的重塑。以伊拉克和阿富汗戰爭為創作背景的劇目Grounded，在15年後的今天，依然震耳欲聾。無人機從一個新鮮詞匯，到成為現代戰爭的主力，時代在飛速前進，但戰火，卻從未停息。
音樂創作闡述：
對於我來說，《墜落者獨白》擁有著直白且龐大、寂靜而躁動的空間，我的任務是一方面保證聲音與這種空間的氣息相調和，另一方面鋪陳敘事和情緒。音樂在這裏必須是少的，甚至可以說是極簡主義的。我此前和從導也合作過一些電影的配樂，已經熟悉了她的美學風格，故而我相信她對這部劇的理解也是如此.。於是，劇中大段大段的配樂我首要選擇用drone music完成，用granular synthesis形成的顆粒感和作為ear candy和焦躁緊張的調味。為數不多的明顯的旋律段我嘗試使用多種小調家族的調式去呈現復雜的不安、痛苦和憤怒。我控製自己不去寫的太多、太滿，或者太自我，太潛意識地把音樂當成主角，以此來保護敘事空間的調性。我希望觀眾在看完之後，能完全記不得音樂，或者忘記音樂，他們記得最清楚的是演員、調度、聲光電整體所呈現出的沈重、空寂和悲哀。

“BOND” is a theatrical adaptation of Harvard NeuroBond by Lin, Tian, crafted for the stage by co-playwrights and co-directors Annora (Jiyun) Dong and Sophia (Jiening) Zhu. Through a dynamic combination of interactive technology and physical theatre, the production explores the intricate layers of human connection, trauma, and self-discovery. Separated by a curtain yet bound by fate, April and June navigate the audience on a parallel journey—one seeking healing, the other offering help and love bottomlessly. As light and shadow shape their world, the boundaries between distance and intimacy, isolation and understanding, gradually blur.
The theatrical composition prioritizes the underscoring of psychological dynamics and abstract narrative structures, with a particular emphasis on the integration of live performance choreography within the actors’ corporeal manifestations.

On a night when his entire body is covered, he goes to the seaside and sees a young girl standing on a plant graveyard. The external manifestations and internal states of a certain illness. The exploration of its motives and treatment. A metaphor for a transformation towards a female morphology.
主角S某天早晨髮覺自己的指頭上長出了綠葉和小花，並在日複一日的醒來與清理中愈演愈烈，蔓延至脖頸、胸前、脊背、腹部等等。 與此同時，他在自己的週遭髮現了某位女性曾經或現在存在的痕跡。 在植被覆蓋全身的夜晚，他來到海邊，在一片植物墓地上看見一個少女，恢複身體原貌的他在痛哭後與少女一同離開。某種病症的外部表徵與內部狀態、動機探究及其醫治，也可以是某種轉向女性形態的寓指。
A film by Lim Soo, shot in Okinawa. Sonic architecture of the film is predicated upon a singular melodic motif. Undergoing a process of expansion and variation, it effectuates the diverse textures that constitute the soundtrack.
